It should be remembered that January in New Zealand is the height of summer, and Queenstown is a very popular destination. Hotels and car hire (if required) should be booked well in advance. Here we list various hotels and apartments within walking distance of the venue.
 
We recommend the Copthorne Hotel, which is conveniently situated directly across the road from the venue. We have agreed special rates for the duration of the Queenstown Chess Classic so please make sure you mention it when booking.
